Hi Gryphon Backers,

We received the first production batch of Gryphons last week and are in the process of shipping them. We are also thrilled to let you know that Gryphon has received approval from the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for our AI powered smart WiFi router. This means Gryphon has passed all of the requisite tests for wireless transmission. The rigorous FCC's certification is designed to ensure that radio frequency (RF) devices "operate effectively," do not cause harmful interference, meet human RF exposure limits, and comply with other FCC rules. A lot of hard work has been leading up to this moment. The authorization by the FCC enables us to deliver to all our backers as well as commercialize and scale to other sales channels like Amazon. Hey Gryphon Backers! 

Hope your new year is off to a great start! I wanted to give you all a quick update on our progress. Thanks to everyone who has filled out the surveys. If you have not filled out your survey, please do so as soon as you can. 

The team has been working hard to get the product to production. This involves both software and hardware efforts as well as coordinating with our manufacturer. There are a lot of balls in the air, but it looks like we are still on track to deliver your Gryphons mid this year!

We just recently added intrusion alert and screen time settings to the Gryphon App. Check it out & let us know what you think!

Since Gryphon is a high powered tri-band 4x4 WiFi router, heat mitigation is an important design consideration. The thermal images below are taken with the Gryphon blasting full power for a day under 40ᴼC. We hope nobody’s home is that hot, but it’s good engineering practice to design for more extreme conditions.
